1470 Dixie Highway was originally home to the Flavorite Donut Company, built in 1941. It later became the Colonial Bake Shop in 1958. A large “Donut” sign sat atop the curved brick building. This location operated as a bake shop through the mid-1970s, after which it became an automotive repair shop. 1460 Dixie Highway hosted a handful of businesses: a Gulf Service Station, Schuerman Auto Sales, Dixie Motors, General Tire, and Solar Tint.
Thirty9 Property purchased the building in 2018. Extensive repairs and improvements were made over the years, creating updated office and warehouse spaces for small businesses. 1460/1470 Dixie Highway is currently home to Glass America (Windshield Replacement), Luke’s HVAC, Concrete Floor Solutions, and Granite World (slab storage).
